Easter is one of the most significant holiday among christians as it signifies the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and his ascension into heaven.
As Christians all over the world marks the day, the Auxillary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Most Rev Anslem Umoren admonished them to live a selfless life devoid of hate.
The Cleric further added that Easter connotes newness in Christ and hope for a better tomorrow.
For Rev Fr, Callistus Ejim, Parish Priest, Holy Trinity Church, Maitama, the death of Christ indicates humility which is a sacred virtue expected of all christians.
He said christians must at all times show love and care especially to the less privilege.
