Ahead of the 2023 general elections, more groups have continued to raise concerns over the state of insecurity in the country as it might affect the conduct of the polls. Addressing a news conference in Abuja on the outcome of it’s 2 day National Executive Council Meeting, National Chairman of YOWICAN Belusochukwu Enwere commended the efforts of the nations military and other security Agencies in the fight against insurgency, Banditry and other criminal activities in the country He however called on them to do more and bring to an end the rising trend of ugly attacks on innocent citizens and destruction of properties.
According to the group,the move will give Nigerians a sense of belonging and positive approach to next year’s election.
Still on 2023, the YOWICAN executive further gave their word of advise to political parties as the process of nominating their presidential flagbearers commences.
The group promised sensitize Nigerians especially youths on the need to register and collect their permanent voters card and also participate in the general elections.
