About 450 staff members from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) participated in a promotional examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The examination, held in Abuja, was organized for junior staff of the OHCSF as part of efforts to promote merit-based advancement within the service.
Speaking with journalists after the exercise, the Director in charge of the JAMB Abuja Zonal Office, Hajia Zainab Hamzat, expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the examination.

She added that out of the 476 staff scheduled to take the test, 450 turned up, marking a high level of participation and commitment among civil servants.

Also speaking, the Director of Ade-Ola International School, Kubwa, Mrs. Mercy Olaosegbe, commended JAMB for maintaining high standards in the conduct of professional examinations.

The promotional examination covered all junior staff under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service, including officers from the Immigration Service, Fire Service, Civil Defence, and other paramilitary organisations under the Service.
