The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Musa Gabam, has joined calls for the investigation of the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emeifele.
The SDP National Chairman made the call at the Formal Unveiling of the National Campaign Council of the party for the 2023 general elections in Abuja.
Gabam who expressed reservation over the controversy the DSS action against the CBN Governor is generating said it is a statutory duty of investigating agencies to investigate crime anywhere especially persons without immunity.
Earlier, the party unveiled its presidential council for the 2023 general election. According to the National Publicity Secretary, Rufus Aiyenigba the council has been charged with the responsibility to market the party to the electorates.
The Executive Committee of the SDP National Campaign Council will operate eleven Directorates with the National Chairman and the party presidential candidate as members.
