A Civil Society Organization under the aegis of Inclusive Friends Association IFA has re-emphasized the need to increase the participation of People living With Disabilities (PWDs) in the electioneering processes ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
Executive Director of the group, Grace Jerry raised the concern while briefing journalists during the lunch of VOTE ABILITY Campaign in Abuja.
She said the essence of the campaign, is to promote the rights and well-being of PWDs in all spheres of society and development with emphasis around electoral issues.
On his part, IFA Board member, Jide Ojo reeled out some targets the Association hoped to achieve on pre and post election day election phases
The Association says it will work with all relevant stakeholders on voter and civic education so as to reduce voter apathy especially with disability community
