The All Progressive Congress has rescheduled it’s presidential primary to May 29th, 2022.
The primary was initially fixed to take place between May 30 and June 1, 2022.
The change of the schedule of activities and timetable for the 2023 general election is the third review in two weeks.
Addressing newsmen after the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka said the party has approved a revised timetable and schedule of activities is as follows.
The Governorship and House of Representatives primary election will take place on Thursday 26th of May 2022.
For the Senate and House of Assembly,the primaries will now hold on Friday 27th, May 2022.
Meanwhile, the ruling party also fixed Friday may 27th as date for it’s election appeals for governorship and the House of Representatives primaries.
Also the appeals for the Senate and House of Assembly primaries will take place on Saturday the 28th of May 2022.
The APC special convention and presidential primary will now take place between Sunday to the 29th and Monday 30th of May 2022.
